FOR TOWNSHIP OFFICIALS

The 107th Annual Convention of the Washington County Association of Township Officials will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe, 1000 Corporate Dr, Canonsburg, PA 15317. Registration, the Reception Hour and Vendor Exhibits will begin at 4:30 PM and conclude at 5:30 PM which will start the event.  The Dinner will be at 6:30 PM and the convention will close at 8:30PM.  PLEASE RSVP by September 15, 2023 to Rachel Welsh ([email protected]) or mail to 28 Clark Avenue, Avella, PA 15312.

Each delegate (Supervisors, Secretaries, Treasurers, Township Managers, Tax Collectors, Solicitors, Engineers, Auditors, Public Works Directors, Zoning Officers, Code Enforcement Officers and Roadmasters) attending the Convention may be compensated from the township’s general fund $50.00 plus round-trip mileage at a rate established by the supervisors.  Please encourage attendance!

If any delegates would like to bring a guest, guest meals are $50 each.  Guest meals must be paid by the delegate or guest, NOT the municipality.  Checks can be made payable to the Washington County Association of Township Officials and sent to South Franklin Township: 100 Municipal Road, Washington, PA 15301.  Guest meals MUST be paid for in advance.

If you are contemplating presenting a Resolution for the convention, please note that it MUST be first approved by your Board of Supervisors.  In addition, we need a copy prior to the convention for review, deadline September 1, 2023.

Updates to the Township yearbook are needed. We will need your current list of all elected and appointed officials plus the updated statistics for the centerfold page of the program.  Please submit this requested information via email to Darla Protch ([email protected])  or mail to 31 McCarrell Road, Hickory, PA 15340.  Please submit the requested information by September 1, 2023!

FOR VENDORS

The 2023 Yearbook/Convention Program of the Washington County Association of Township Officials is now being prepared.  This year will mark our 107^th annual convention.  We are offering several levels of convention participation; please choose from one or more of the following options. Please be advised of slight price changes from previous years.

SPONSORS:  Sponsorship is $1,000.  It provides a full-page ad in the program, plus an additional listing under sponsors, a vendor table, and two meal tickets. Extra donations to support the Vendors and Officials Meet-and-Greet prior to the event would be appreciated.

EXHIBITORS:  Vendor tables can be reserved for $100.  If you would like to reserve an outside spot near the entrance for equipment, please let us know.  If you would like a meal, they are an additional $50. Extra donations to support the Vendors and Officials Meet-and-Greet prior to the event would be appreciated. NO CASH will be received at the event.
